VELENJE BEACH

Sandy beach with wooden stands and free deck chairs for sunbathing, water park, numerous opportunities for water sports, large grassy area are just few reasons why you must visit Velenje beach. Few happenings I present on photos below.               


Midsummer’s Eve at Velenje lake

The celebration of Midsummer’s Eve also known as St John’s Day was from ancient times a festival of the summer solstice. For that occasion – the longest day of the year – the members of Water sport club Velenje lit the bonfire. The organizer and head of the project was Mrs. Slavica Živko.
