The exhibition Our day and night city dwellers is some kind of continuation of the reportage with a similar name: Our night city dwellers, that was published in the National Geographic Slovenia magazine in August 2012 and later in the National Geographic Junior. By the National Geographic Society the reportage received an award as the best local reportage in the year 2013. Exhibited photos show those typical forest species that found living space in the city center of Velenje and at the nearby. Creating of all the photos took seven years, while the formation of individual photo took for at least three months of intensive work. All photos were taken planned and for their creation were needed a lot of preparation, foresight, patience, planning, a very good knowledge of the habits of each species, and of course, all the process had to be repeated several times.
Short reportage about the exhibition also from local television VTV.
The official opening of exhibition was enriched by diatonic Accordion World Champion 2015 Nejc Pačnik.
